To overprotect it, to baby your tooth this much

This is an interesting and entertaining take on toothaches! Toothaches are no fun, that's or sure. There is no sense in putting off seeing the dentist when you have one because it is a signal that something is going on that needs care. I have not had many toothaches in my time, but I'm lucky to know a great dentist.
