Schedules vs Lists

I have one list that I live by daily, and I do my very best to adhere to it...

However, it appears that life won't be that simple for awhile!

Schedules are something that I am just NOT good at. Seriously, I'm more of a spontaneous do it when I want or need, or remember kind of person. Imagine my not so surprised reaction late last night when I realized I hadn't done my post for the day. Yeah, it was pretty much like that. Only 4 days into the year and she's missing already. OOOPS! Hey, I'm only human! I did manage a save, a bit lame, I know, but it was still a save all the same.

It is a time of 'changes' and perhaps even learning to schedule somewhat so I'm not scrambling and struggling at the end of the bloody day for something important that was forgotten or left out. Lists are always a good thing to have when trying to accomplish more than one project in a day. I think I need a course in time management, but I don't have the time or room for another course, not right now.

It doesn't help that a lot of the things I am taking or working on are of a deep spiritual nature and require thought, peace and focus. I'm still thinking about some answers to a question 8 months after the fact! I still haven't found the answers I seek, maybe I never will. How can I move on when I haven't completed a point? I'd feel rather guilty if I skipped.

Anyhow, back to the topic of schedules. We all have them. We all live by them, and some people cannot move without theirs. I've always bucked the system and been a little rebellious, and of course it hasn't always been for my own good. In this instance, I believe I may have to stretch - just a little - and put together a schedule for myself. Not completely anal and what has to be done at what specific time, more a list of what needs to be done in a day.

So, sometime today when I have time in between wracking my brain for things that are not right in my life and how to right them and the yoga challenge I've begun, the housework, the writing, the journalling, the writing course, etc., etc., I am sure I will find the time to make that list.

Until then....
